Imperialism Then vs. Imperialism Today

Interview with political economist, Jay Tharappel, to discuss his most recent study, Why China's Capital Exports Can Weaken Imperialism, published in World Review of Political Economy.

I had the pleasure of sitting down with political economist, Jay Tharappel, to discuss his most recent study, Why China's Capital Exports Can Weaken Imperialism, published in World Review of Political Economy.

Tharappel is a rare contemporary Marxist from the Western world who is able to delink the conclusions of Lenin’s theory of imperialism from the method in order to apply it to the 21st century. The importance of this is immediate, especially in today’s confused political landscape in which the left is unable to formulate a comprehensive and detailed worldview outside of a surface-level “capitalism is bad.”

If you watch and feel that you learned somthing, I would appreciate a like and share! Looking forward to writing to you all again.
