'Believing Science,' pt. 1: Pandemic Imperialism

In a panel with other communist scientists and thinkers, I discussed the role of science in society and how liberals weaponized the idea of "believe science" for their own profits and political gains
1

Most workers in the US understand that the state clearly failed at managing the pandemic and minimizing deaths as much as possible. Moreover, many workers understand that monopoly coroprations profited off of the pandemic under the guise of helping society manage the pandemic.

Unfortunately, most of these workers blame “communism,” whether it be accusing the US state of communist practices or blaming China for creating this mess. What do actual communists have to say about this?

I join a few comrades, communist scientists and thinkers, on the Probably Cancelled Podcast to criticize how the liberal US state, and the corporations which control it, weaponized the idea of science for their own profits and eugenics.

If we are not able to ask skeptical questions, to interrogate those who tell us that something is true, to be skeptical of those in authority, then, we are up for grabs for the next charlatan (political or religious) who comes rambling along.
